Promo and Development Team | 2025
Omnium Gatherum is the senior BFA Graphic Design exhibition for the Spring 2025 cohort, named to reflect the diverse mix of designers, styles, and perspectives that made up our class. Despite coming from different backgrounds and cohorts, we came together as one supportive, creative group to celebrate our work and growth.
As a promo and development team member, I helped my team design the show's key visual elements, including banners, postcards, takeaway materials, and the event color system. This highly collaborative process allowed me to combine strategic thinking with hands-on design execution with my cohort and team.
“Omnium Gatherum” is a Latin phrase that means “a miscellaneous collection” or “a hodgepodge of things.”
It’s often used to describe a diverse group or assortment of people, ideas, or items brought together in one place, sometimes in a chaotic or unstructured way, but with a sense of richness or variety. In the context of a design exhibition like ours, Omnium Gatherum beautifully conveys the idea of a creative group made up of different voices, styles, and experiences coming together to showcase their work.
